Willard Mullin Original "Brooklyn Bum" Artwork

In this outstanding personal presentation artwork, drawn on his personal letterhead, famed sports artist Willard Mullin bids one of his friends a fond farewell in the guise of his most famous character, the beloved "Brooklyn Bum." The "Bum" is pictured pointing at the reader as he offers this admonishment: "O.K., Johnny...When yez hits th' sunshine state don't fah-get t' remember t' give m' regards t' th' gang." Mullin has signed the drawing along the base of the page, also adding "Happy Traveling." The page (6.25 x 9.75 inches) displays a few insignificant surface wrinkles (of no consequence) and is in otherwise in spectacular Excellent condition. Matted and framed to total dimensions of 14.5 x 18 inches. Reserve $200. Estimate $500+. SOLD FOR $1,175
