1921 to 1933 Hall of Famer Sample-Card Collection (8)

Collection of seven high-quality cards of Hall of Famers plus one minor star (for a total of eight cards) from six different rare and unusual sets, spanning the years 1921 to 1933. All eight cards have been graded and encapsulated by PSA or SGC. 1) 1921 E253 Oxford Confectionery (2 cards): Max Carey (SGC VG 40, solid Ex card downgraded for a light wrinkle near the upper right corner) and Ray Schalk (SGC GOOD 30, heavy horizontal crease through the center, still a nice-looking card). 2) 1922 V61 Neilson's Chocolate Type II: Harry Heilmann (SGC VG 40, downgraded due to a light horizontal wrinkle at 4:00). 3) 1927 American Caramel E126: #32 Max Carey (SGC GOOD 30, downgraded by SGC due to a few tiny corner creases and heavy corner wear). 4) 1928 F50 Yuengling's Ice Cream (2 cards): #22 Harry Heilmann (PSA GOOD 2, solid Vg card downgraded due to light staining) and 44 Grover Alexander (PSA GOOD 2, solid Ex-Mt card downgraded for a few isolated light border stains). 5) 1933 R333 DeLong: #14 Lefty Gomez (PSA VG-EX 4, centered 85/15 L/R with no creases). 6) 1933 R305 Tattoo Orbit: Charles Root (SGC VG/EX 50).
