1934-1936 R318 Batter-Up PSA-Graded Collection (3)

Starting Bid - $300, Sold For - $1,058

Collection of three high-grade key cards, including two Hall of Famers and one high number, from the classic 1934 R318 Batter-Up set, each graded and encapsulated by PSA: #42 Charlie Gehringer (EX 5), 57 Hank Greenberg (EX-MT 6), and 149 Moe Berg (EX-MT 6; high number, only four examples graded higher by PSA). The R318 Batter-Up set is universally recognized as one of the most significant of all prewar baseball-card issues. This is a sharp-looking trio, each with the card backgrounds complete and intact. #57 Greenberg and 149 Berg are particularly sharp EX-MT examples. The SMR value for these three cards in the assigned grades is $1,135. Total 3 cards. Reserve $300. Estimate $500/$1,000. SOLD FOR $1,058
