1909-1911 T206 Jimmy Sheckard PSA NM-MT 8

Starting Bid - $300, Sold For - $1,058

Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. No glove shows pose. One of just six examples graded at this level, with only one graded higher. This extraordinary high-grade example exhibits four sharp corners, deep, bold colors, and perfect clarity. The centering is slightly toward the right border (approximately 55/45). The Piedmont reverse is nearly virtually flawless, with just a couple of very tiny spots of foxing at the bottom, and with crisp, bold blue printing. We have found that at auction cards from extremely popular sets with very low populations in the highest grades often sell for far more than SMR, and this is especially the case with classic vintage sets such as the T206 White Borders. SMR is $850. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+. SOLD FOR $1,058
