1909-1911 T206 Ed Reagan PSA NM 7 - Southern Leaguer

Starting Bid - $200, Sold For - $1,293

Graded NM 7 by PSA. Southern Leaguer. One of only two T206 examples of Reagan, New Orleans, graded at this level, with only three graded higher. The card has extremely bold colors, four square corners with a little wear to the lower corners, and is centered slightly toward the bottom border. This is a very strong condition example of a T206 card that, perhaps because it is a scarce Southern Leaguer, happens to be particularly difficult to find in high grade. We have found that at auction cards from extremely popular sets with very low populations in the highest grades often sell for far more than SMR, and this is especially the case with classic vintage sets such as the T206 White Borders. Old Mill advertising on reverse. SMR is $650. Reserve $200. Estimate $400/$800. SOLD FOR $1,293
