1902-1911 W600 Sporting Life Cabinet Card Collection (3)

Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $4,113

Collection of three striking high-grade W600 Sporting Life cabinets, each graded and encapsulated by SGC: Freeman (EX+ 70), Stahl (VG/EX 50), and Winters (EX 60). This impressive trio includes two of the original glassine envelopes in which they were issued. All three are crisp and clean, and with flawless surfaces. Visually these cards are even more appealing than suggested by their technically accurate SGC grades. W600s are one of the rarest sets from the early part of the century, and one of the most substantial and well-made card sets ever produced. This is a magnificent group of three high-grade examples from this extremely desirable prewar issue. Total 3 cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/2,000+. SOLD FOR $4,113
