1909-1911 T206 Vic Willis - Batting BVG NM+ 7.5

Starting Bid - $300.00 , Sold For - $940.00

Graded NM+ 7.5 by BVG. Incredibly sharp ultra high-grade T206 of Hall of Famer Vic Willis of the St. Louis Nationals (batting pose). This is one of the three highest-grade gems of the Beckett T206 find, one of only three cards in the entire Beckett find of 546 T206 cards to earn a grade of NM+ 7.5 (two of these NM+ examples, by chance, are Willis, each a different pose). Extremely bright, clean, and fresh, with virtually perfect centering, and bold color. The back is also bright and clean, with bold red advertising print for Sweet Caporal Cigarettes. This is an outstanding, high-quality T206 Hall of Famer worthy of the finest T206 set. The equivalent SMR value is $1,000. Reserve $300. Estimate $500/$1,000. SOLD FOR $940.00
