1915 E145 Cracker Jack #133 Branch Rickey SGC NM+ 86

Starting Bid - $300.00 , Sold For - $1,175.00

Graded NM+ 86 by SGC. High-grade factory-set fresh card. While Cracker Jacks were issued one card per box, in 1915 the entire set of 176 cards could also be ordered direct from the factory by mail in exchange for 100 coupons, or 1 coupon plus 25 cents. Cracker Jacks are universally regarded as one of the most classic and highly regarded baseball card sets ever produced. This is crisp card, perfectly clean front and back, no stains, four sharp corners, and with a particularly deep red background. The centering (30/70 L/R and 25/75 T/B) affects the grade and value, and is the only reason this card was downgraded from a higher level by SGC. If not for the centering, this card would grade at least an SGC NM-MT+ 92. This is a very sharp card. It is rare to find any Cracker Jack in such high grade, let alone a high-grade example of Hall of Famer Branch Rickey. The SMR value for a PSA 7 is $750 and for a PSA 8 is $3,200. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+. SOLD FOR $1,175.00
