1911 T205 Gold Border High-Grade SGC-Graded Collection (5)

Starting Bid - $500.00 , Sold For - $2,232.50

Collection of five extremely high-grade T205 Gold Borders, each graded by SGC: Edward Barger (partial “B” on cap, EX 60), Louis Criger (NM 84), Jim Delahanty (NM 84), Frank Schulte (EX/NM 80), and Harry Steinfeldt (NM 84). These five examples each display four sharp corners, flawless registration, and extremely strong colors. This is an absolutely gorgeous group. Every card is particularly sharp. T205 Gold Borders are one of the most condition-sensitive of all card issues, as well as one of card collecting's most popular and classic sets. This is a small collection of very conservatively graded high-quality cards that could serve as upgrades for the building of just about any ultra high-grade T205 set, or make a significant contribution to a world-class set currently being assembled. The equivalent SMR value for the assigned grades is $2,350. Total 5 cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$2,000+. SOLD FOR $2,232.50
