1911 T205 Gold Border Hall of Fame PSA-Graded Collection (5)

Starting Bid - $800.00 , Sold For - $1,880.00

Collection of five Hall of Famers from the 1911 T205 Gold Border set, each graded and encapsulated by PSA. This is a very sharp-looking, high-grade group. 1) Home Run Baker (PSA EX 5). The card is centered to the left with bold, crisp colors. Clean front and back with just a slight hint of wear to the square corners. 2) Roger Bresnahan (mouth open, PSA VG-EX 4). Bresnahan/mouth open variation is a particularly rare card in the set. Sharp-looking card, with bright colors, and four slightly rounded corners. Centered to the bottom right. 3) Fred Clarke (PSA EX-MT 6). Well centered with just a slight hint of corner wear (predominately the bottom right), and light, minor chipping along the top and bottom edges. Clean both front and back, and with a boldly printed reverse. 4) John McGraw (PSA EX-MT 6). This card has four square corners with a hint of white showing at the extreme tips, virtually no chipping to the gold borders, perfect registration, and is centered to the right (approximately 70/30) with a slight tilt to the image. 5) Bobby Wallace (with cap, PSA EX-MT 6). This is a very clean example with virtually flawless registration, perfect colors, and light, even corner wear. Centered slightly to the bottom left. This is a very impressive looking collection of five T205 Gold Border Hall of Famers. The SMR value for the five cards is $2,525. Total 5 cards. Reserve $800. Estimate $1,500/$2,500. SOLD FOR $1,880.00
