1910 E93 Standard Caramel Hall of Fame PSA Collection (3)

Starting Bid - $500.00 , Sold For - $1,292.50

Collection of three Hall of Famers from the 1910 E93 Standard Caramel set. All three cards have been graded and encapsulated VG-EX 4 by PSA: 1) Frank Chance. Centered to the right, with a slight tilt to the image, even wear to the square corners, and no creases. The back is clean with boldly printed text. 2) Fred Clarke. Very attractive card with corner rounding, a bold blue background, no creases, and centered to the right border. The checklist reverse has some very light soiling. We grade this card Vg/Vg-Ex. 3) Hughie Jennings. Perfectly clean, front and back, with fairly sharp corners, with a little wear in the lower left, a stunning deep blue background, and centered slightly to the right border 70/30. A tiny surface paper scrape on the reverse in the lower left (not easily seen) appears to be the only reason this card was not graded higher, as it otherwise certainly has an Ex or Ex-Mt appearance. This is a very sharp looking card. This 30-card set was issued in 1910 by the Standard Caramel Co. of Lancaster, PA. This set is closely related to several other candy sets from the era which share the same format and, in many cases, the same player image. This is a very attractive collection of three E93 Standard Caramel Hall of Famers. The SMR value for the three cards is $1,875. Total 3 cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$1,500+. SOLD FOR $1,292.50
