1909 E92 Nadja Caramels Collection (8)

Starting Bid - $500.00 , Sold For - $1,527.50

Collection of eight different E92 Nadja Caramels, each graded and encapsulated by SGC (except one PSA): Bergen (VG/EX 50), Davis (POOR 10), Doyle/throwing (VG 40), Gibson (PSA VG-EX 4), Jacklitsch (AUTH; front looks Ex-Mt, nice-looking card with clear tape, a little paper loss on reverse, and a slight diamond cut; this card looks like it deserves a numerical grade since it does not appear to be trimmed or altered), McLean (VG/EX 50), Schaefer (VG 40), and Schlei (POOR 10; Vg appearance, downgraded due to having two pieces of clear tape and a tiny bit of surface paper loss on reverse). Cards from this rare caramel issue from 1909 share the same designs as several other related candy issues (Dockman Gum, Croft's Candy, etc.) from the same era. Overall a very attractive and (with two exceptions that are still nice-looking cards) uniformly graded group of these scarce caramel cards. Total 8 cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$1,500. SOLD FOR $1,527.50
