1933 R300 George C. Miller Dizzy Dean

Starting Bid - $500.00, Sold For - $2,643.75

Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. Presented is an exceptionally high-grade example of Dizzy Dean from the 1933 R300 George C. Miller series. Only three examples (all EX 5) have ever been graded higher. This is one of the rarest and most desirable of all Dizzy Dean cards, as well as one of the key Hall of Famers in the entire R300 set. Dean’s striking portrait image is set against a vivid multicolored background. It is an incredible example with flawless color, very well centered just a hint to the right, perfectly bright and clean, with perfect registration, a boldly printed reverse, no creases, and just slight even wear to the corners. This is a gorgeous card with a very strong Excellent appearance. It is an extremely high-end PSA VG-EX 4. We grade this card Vg-Ex/Ex, bordering on Excellent. Very few R300s have survived in such high grade, let alone of key Hall of Famer Dizzy Dean. This is a very significant 1930s card, and certainly one of the finest examples of this elusive rarity we have ever seen. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000++. SOLD FOR $2,643.75
