1933 R319 Goudey PSA NM-MT 8 Collection (13)

Starting Bid - $2,000.00, Sold For - $5,875.00

Extremely high-grade collection of thirteen different 1933 Goudey Gum cards, all pack-fresh, each graded NM-MT 8 by PSA, with no qualifiers. All are crisp gems. This collection is highlighted by Hall of Famers Joe Sewell and Heinie Manush. The collection is comprised of the following: #65 (highest graded), 67 (only one graded higher), 68 (just two graded higher), 75 (highest graded), 77 (highest graded), 111 (just two graded higher), 123 (just three graded higher), 124 (highest graded), 131 (highest graded), 165 Sewell (HOF, highest graded), 187 Manush (HOF, just two graded higher), 208 (highest graded), and 233 (just four graded higher). As referenced throughout, many of these cards are the highest or second-highest graded examples in the PSA Population Report. This is a tremendous high-grade collection for this issue, very carefully assembled in uncompromising ultra high grade, ideal additions for a world-class 1933 Goudey set . All cards have razor-sharp corners, bold colors, and are very well centered. We have found that at auction cards from extremely popular sets with very low populations in the highest grades often sell for far more than SMR, and this is most often the case with the most classic vintage sets such as 1933 Goudey. SMR value is $7,275. Total 13 cards. Reserve $2,000. Estimate $4,000/$6,000+. SOLD FOR $5,875.00
