1912 T202 Triple Folder "Caught Asleep Off First" Bresnahan/Harmon PSA NM 7

Starting Bid - $300.00, Sold For - $1,057.50

Graded NM 7 by PSA. This is one of only seven examples graded at this level with just three graded higher. Striking high-grade example of one of the key cards featuring Hall of Famers from the classic T202 Hassan Triple Folders set: #15 "Caught Asleep Off First" featuring Roger Bresnahan and Bob Harmon on the end panels. The T202 Triple Folder set is one of card collecting's most popular, as well as condition-sensitive, issues. This example is perfectly clean, both front and back, with snow-white borders, bright and crisp colors, and four sharp corners. Centered just slightly to the top. This is an extraordinary high-grade example, which would be at home in the highest-grade T202 collection, or any high-grade prewar Hall of Fame card collection. We have found that at auction cards from extremely popular sets with very low populations in the highest grades often sell for far more than SMR, and this is especially the case with classic vintage sets such as the T202 Triple Folders. SMR value is $850. Reserve $300. Estimate $500/$1,000. SOLD FOR $1,057.50
