1910-1914 Bakery Card Samples Including D304 General Baking, D359 Williams Baking, D322 Tip Top Bread

Collection of three rare bakery card samples: 1) D359 Williams Baking Cy Morgan. Graded VG 3 by PSA. The 18-card Williams Baking Philadelphia Athletics set was issued in 1911. D359s are among the rarest of all twentieth-century baking company issues. Produced to commemorate the Athletics’ 1910 Championship season, the set features exclusively Athletics, including manager Connie Mack. The very same images were used for similar sets issued by Rochester Baking and Cullivan's Fireside Tobacco. This is a particularly rare set. Presented is a sample card of pitcher Cy Morgan. 2) 1910 D322 Tip Top Bread Tom Leach. Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. Extremely high-grade (for this issue) sample of one of the star players from this rare bakery set, which featured only Pittsburgh Pirate players, issued to commemorate the 1909 Championship season. This is a very sharp example which appears Ex. 3) 1911-1914 D304 General Baking Company Hal Chase (no team variation). These bakery cards were issued in Buffalo and come with several different styles of advertising on reverse. This sample features the "General Baking Company" ad on the back. Total 3 cards.
