1909-1911 T206 Bill Milligan PSA NM-MT 8

Starting Bid - $200.00, Sold For - $1,762.50

Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. One of seven examples graded at this level, with only one graded higher. This high-grade T206 example of Bill Milligan displays extremely bold colors and is perfectly centered. The bright red background is particularly strong and brilliant, presenting a striking background to the perfectly focused portrait image. This is a stunning card. Perfectly clean, both front and back, and with four sharp, square corners. The Piedmont reverse is centered slightly to the right. We have found that at auction cards from extremely popular sets with very low populations in the highest grades often sell for far more than SMR, and this is especially the case with classic vintage sets such as the T206 White Borders. SMR is $750. Reserve $200. Estimate $400/$800. SOLD FOR $1,762.50
