1960 Pittsburgh Pirates World Champions Team-Signed Baseball

Official National League (Giles) ball signed in blue ink by the following nineteen members of the 1960 World Champion Pittsburgh Pirates: Murtaugh (clubhouse, sweet spot), Clemente ("6"), Vernon, Schoefield, Virdon, Oldis, Smith, Giel, Mazeroski, Baker, Skinner, Law, Green, Daniels, Friend, Gibbon, Groat, Haddix and Face. The signatures range in grade from "6" to "8," averaging "7," with the exception of Mazeroski ("4," light). All of the manufacturer's stampings remain bold and legible and the ball is in overall Near Mint condition. This is an outstanding team-signed ball dating from one of the "magic teams" of its era, and from perhaps the greatest season in Pittsburgh Pirates history.
