1965 Kahn's Wieners Complete Set (45)

Starting Bid - $1,000.00, Sold For - $2,610.00

Complete set of forty-five 1965 Kahn's Weiners cards, including the highest-ever PSA-graded examples of key cards Hank Aaron (PSA MINT 9) and Pete Rose (PSA NM-MT 8). Forty cards range from grade Ex-Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt, five cards are Ex. This striking, colorful, and very scarce 1960s regional issue features players from the Reds, Pirates, Indians, and Braves. Four cards have been graded by PSA: Aaron (PSA MINT 9), Robinson (PSA NM 7), Rose (PSA NM-MT 8), and Stargell (PSA NM 7). This is a remarkably crisp high-grade set of this popular and attractive issue, with all of the key cards in the set particularly strong. Kahn's Weiners cards are far rarer than most 1960s baseball cards, and are one of the few food issues of the era. The SMR value of the four PSA-graded cards alone (not including the forty-one ungraded cards) is $1,750. Total 45 cards. Reserve $1,000. Estimate $2,000+. SOLD FOR $2,610.00
