1911 T205 Gold Borders PSA NM 7 Collection (14)

Starting Bid - $2,000.00, Sold For - $12,760.00

Extraordinary collection of fourteen different extremely high grade T205 Gold Borders. All fourteen are encapsulated and graded NM 7 by PSA: Austin, Bergen, Corridon, Crandall ("T" not crossed), Devlin, Jacklitsch, Leever, B. Lord, O'Leary, Phelps, Quinn, Richie, Summers, Wolter. The T205 Gold Border set is one of card collecting's most popular sets. They are also one of vintage card collecting's most condition-sensitive issues. The gold borders make collecting the set in high-grade particularly challenging. It is rare to find any T205 Gold Borders graded NM 7 by PSA, let alone a collection of fourteen. Only 8% of all T205s ever graded by PSA have graded NM 7 or better. This is a magnificent collection of high-grade T205s, assembled by a very discriminating collector with a concern for condition and eye appeal. These fourteen cards would provide a serious start to a world-class T205 set, or provide upgrades to virtually any world-class T205 set in the process of being assembled. Total 14 cards. Reserve $2,000. Estimate $4,000/$8,000. SOLD FOR $12,760.00
