1973-75 Thurman Munson Game Bat

Signature model S44 1973-75 H&B 125 dates from Munson's first several years in the majors. Munson was one of the game's fiercest competitors, most popular players, and great team leaders, until his tragic and untimely death in 1979. While he has not yet been elected to the Hall of Fame, his place in the hearts and minds of fans has endured, and is secure. The powerful force of Munson's personality has left a tremendous impact on the game, the Yankee team, and fans. It is felt to this day. This is an outstanding game bat from one of the great Yankee legends, and one of the few Yankee players ever honored with the title "Team Captain." Length: 35 inches. Weight: 31 ounces.
