Incredible 1996 New York Yankees Team-Signed Display

Starting Bid - $1,000.00, Sold For - $1,495.00

Unbelievable and gigantic 1996 Yankee team-signed display is elaborately constructed, and is a simply extraordinary and unique tribute to this legendary team. It would be hard to calculate the investment in time, energy, and money which was required to create this shadow-box framed display. Every member of the team has signed, in some instances twice. The massive "1996 World Champions" display measures 42 x 32 inches, and is housed in a beautiful custom-made shadow-box frame measuring 51 x 46 inches. The display is comprised of nine separate pieces, including seven large World Series "tickets" (each 5.5 x 10.75 inches), a large central die-cut illustration featuring 11 key players, and the New York skyline backdrop. There are an amazing total of 56 blue sharpie signatures in the display, many of which include extra inscriptions and notations. The signatures grade a "9/10" overall. Signatures include Derek Jeter, Andy Pettitte, Bernie Williams, Wade Boggs (2), David Cone (2), John Wetteland (3), Mariano Rivera, Paul O'Neill (2), Joe Torre (2), Darryl Strawberry, Dwight Gooden, Cecil Fielder, Joe Girardi (2), Jim Leyritz, Bob Watson, Chris Chambliss, Don Zimmer, and many more. The custom design of the massive frame itself must have been an extraordinary undertaking. This would be the centerpiece to any bar, sports room, or serious Yankees collection. LOAs from Mike Gutierrez/GAI and James Spence & Steve Grad/PSA DNA. Due to the extremely large dimensions of the display, the shipping charges for this piece (depending on where it is sent and method of shipping) may be substantial. Reserve $1,000. Estimate $2,000/$4,000. SOLD FOR $1,495.00
