Bucky Harris Single-Signed Baseball

Starting Bid - $500.00, Sold For - $920.00

Circa 1950s MacGregor "Ralph Kiner League" model ball is beautifully signed by Hall of Famer Bucky Harris ("8/9") in blue ink on the sweet spot. Harris was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1975, and died in 1977, leaving only a very brief window of two years of signing as a Hall of Famer. We believe this is a 1950s signature. In the 1950s, a very prolific single-signed ball collector used these MacGregor "Ralph Kiner League" balls to assemble his collection. It is very likely that this ball was once a part of this collection, which has long since been broken up. This is an outstanding high-grade example of this very difficult-to-find Hall of Famer single, ideal for display. The ball is bright and clean. Near Mint condition. LOAs Mike Gutierrez/GAI and James Spence & Steve Grad/PSA DNA. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$2,000. SOLD FOR $920.00
