Gorgeous oval professional studio photograph of 1919 Black Sox co-conspirator Chick Gandil (6.5 x 4.5 inches) is elegantly framed in a display with a signed 3 x 5 index card, "Chic A. Gandil" ("9"). The photograph is a stunning professional portrait in Mint condition, with the embossed seal of photographer in the lower right. Gandil is credited by many as being the ringleader of the Black Sox. Following his banishment from the game, he became a plumber. The index card is in Near Mint condition, with Gandil's lifetime stats neatly penned on the reverse. An extremely attractive display featuring the leader of the "Black Sox," framed to total dimensions of 10 x 14 inches. LOAs from Mike Gutierrez/GAI and James Spence & Steve Grad/PSA DNA.
