1910 E222 AWH Caramels (Virginia League) Smith

Sample card from one of the rarest of all "E" card sets, catalogued E222, issued in 1910 by the A.W.H. Caramel Company, featuring players from the Virginia League. To date, only 10 different examples have been found. The cards measure 1.5 x 2.75 inches and picture a player portrait that is tinted red, black, brown, or blue and white. Presented is a sample card of a player named Smith, from the 1910 Lynchburg Shoemakers of the Virginia League. Very Good condition. Reserve $200. Estimate $400/$600. SOLD FOR $2,875.00
